On January 5th, I'm finally leaving Cape Breton and starting my BMQ (Basic Miltary Qualification) in Quebec. I'm super excited cuz my life will finally start. I mean, my life as an adult, on my own. I just want all you guys to know that I want to hang out with every one at least once before I go cuz I want the best of memories of all my friends before I go. I'm really pumped to start, I just want to get out of Cape Breton. So everyone of youse, except a call from me within the next 2 months :P

Wow, it's been a while since I updated this beast......hmmm....what's new with me....I bought a cute lil portable amp from The Music Store in North Sydney yesterday...it's a Dan Electro HoneyTone Amp....for a lil amp..it's pretty loud and pretty decent sound as well...sounds like my Princeton(sorta).....I also I'm waiting on my new guitar....I'm getting an Ibanez RG550DX with Seymour Duncan Invader H8....can't wait to get that! Now I must work...what a crap-tatsic update!

Has anyone heard about "Last Days" directed by Gus Van Sant? It's a story about a rockstars life that is "loosely based" on Kurt Cobain's life, adn the last few days of his life.....look at some of these pictures and tell me it's pretty much Kurt Cobain.....someone's gonna get their ass sued if ya ask me...

And my last post...is apperantly the last words he utters in the movie.....I was like "WTF?!?!?!" It's angered me for the fact that is it's loosely based on Kurt's Life.....if anyone has read "Heavier then Heaven" by Charles Cross, he was listening to Man on the Moon by REM, Drinking a Barq's Rootbeer....and in his not it says "I don't have the passion anymore" the whole "I can't live this life" is added by them for "dramatic effect" I guess. Even Kim Gordon from Sonic Youth is in the movie (who was also a close friend of Kurt's) it seems more like a biography then a inspired story. Any Thoughts?

So, the last few days have been kinda hell-ish. My Stepdad (who is pretty much my father) Took a heart attack right in front of me on Thursday Morning and was rushed to the hospital, while was at home, scared to death if he was ok or not. He pulled thru, but he came close to losing his life, they were going to rush him to halifax, but then the "Block Buster" (a needle they give people with a clog in the heart) finally kicked in, (After 2 and half hours after giving it, it's supposed to kick in about an hour)they were relived because they told my mom that if they would have taken him to halifax, he wouldn't have made it. He's in sydney now, waiting to go to Halifax to get a dye test to see how much damage the heart attack did, and to see if he has anymore clogs in his heart or any other aritery in his body.
One of the main reasons this happened, but my stepdad was on the atkins diet. My Stepdad is a mailman, and walks about 3/4 miles a day. When he gets home he is non stop, he is always working on something. He was gettin a lil hefty (He was about 5'8ish, but about 230lbs) and then he went on the "Miracle Diet" The Atkins diet. Sure, he lost about 45 pounds, but it shot up his clestorol and his sugar was so high that they had a scare that he could have been a diabetic. This diet works, but it destroys your insides. The creator of the diet DIED himself from his own diet, that should be sign enough, but if you know ANYONE, try to get them off of it. It posions your body and does nothing but hurt you in the long run. My Step Dad is 47, a mailman, and an energetic man. You would think that it would be hard for him to have a heart attack being so young, but it shows what it does to you. One again, if you know anyone on this diet, talk to him to get them off.

1/ Get Jealous of the poor kids that go on Oprah and they get like a huge shopping spree to like the biggest mall in Chicago and they walk out with things that you'd kill for, and then you think "I wish I was poor and get 50,000 dollars worth of free stuff and a huge new house" *grumble grumble* Horrible isn't it? Cuz I know a few people have thought it before. People won't let anyone else, even unfortunate people have nothing.
2/ Completely not like a person, then went something bad happens to them, all of a sudden, your there best friend? I mean , there is nothing wrong with just being there for a person when they are upset, even if you don't like them, but claiming you liked them always and turn into their best friend? Despite what you think, Fake Friendship is NOT better then no friendship at all.
3/ Hear a song on come on the radio or on a mix cd, and like it, and then say "What is this?" then, someone tells you it's a band you don't like at all, then you completely HATE it and claim to always hate it? It's amazing how close minded we are.
4/ Have an AMAZING dream, your in the middle of it, then someone wakes you up, then you try to go back to sleep and try to re-dream it? It never is the same and it's completely different and messed up. Fuckin People!
5/ Go on someone else's bed, and find Pubic Hair on the pillow? How do people get pubes on the pillow? Even Worse, Have you ever found a pube in your food? How is POSSIBLY get pubes in it? Do you rub your no no places on it for a extra flavor? "Yumm, this is really good, kinda salty tho." "That's not salt your tasting..."Think that's gross and it wouldn't happen? You'd be surprised.
6/ Been asked if you seen a movie/heard a cd/watch a tv show, and you said yes, not because you seen it either just because your either not paying attention, or just lying saying you did. Why do we do this? I mean, it just makes conversation awkward, more so when the other person continues the conversation and asked you "What was your favorite part/song?" and you have no fuckin idea what to say? You now feel really awkward cuz you have idea what the hell to say....wouldn't it just have been easier to say, "No, I didn't"
I assume people do that cuz they have to be track with everyone else.
7/Not like someone famous, but you met them, and they were really nice, or just because you met someone famous, you like them? You should see all the people who HATED Bush, but since he came to Halifax and shook their hand, He is all of a sudden the best president america ever had. Wow, your iron-clad opinion changed so quick, all the bastard had to do is say he liked Hockey and shake your hand. Idiot.

I had an amazing weekend with Julie.....well saturday til today.....
